I am so obsessed with high tech company songs ever since I worked at a Panasonic sales event. We thought factory songs were an invention of the ever crazy Japanese? The International Business Machines Song book a performance to the tune of Jingle Bells:
The usual weird personality cult around its founder sales guru Watson you find in the song book from 1931.
Our voices swell in admiration,
Of T. J. Watson proudly sing,
He’ll ever be our inspiration,
To him our voices loudly ring,
The I B M will sing the praises,
Of him who brought us world acclaim,
As the volume of our chorus raises,
Hail to his honored name.
arebentisch – Know anyone interested in purchasing an old IBM Songbook (1941 & 1952) both original soft cover booklets NOT reproductions?
Do you sell an IBM Songbook? If so, waht’s your price?
